What is the shelf life of your soaps?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
The shelf life of our soaps is virtually unlimited<\/strong>. The only thing to remember is to keep your soap bars in a cool<\/strong>, dry place<\/strong>. The drier soap bars become, the harder they become, and the longer their shelf life will be. Our cold-process soaps<\/a> have already gone through a 30-day<\/strong> ambient air drying process and are ready for use. The use of a soap dish<\/a> is essential to ensure proper drainage of your soap bar.<\/div><\/div>\n

Are your products vegan? Are they tested on animals?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
Many of our products are vegan<\/strong> (no animal products). We invite you to consult the ingredient lists of our products or write<\/a> to ask us about them. Our products are not tested on animals (But our step-mothers do try them out!)<\/div><\/div>\n

Are your products organic?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
Our products are not certified organic. Although many of the raw materials we use are organic, we have chosen not to pursue certification at this time, as it is a time-intensive process that leads to additional costs. It is a business choice. One thing is certain: We carefully select simple, natural ingredients that result in finished products of superior quality.<\/div><\/div>\n

Do you use fragrances?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
Yes, in some products. Fragrances (perfumes) are synthetic oils developed from essential oils, plant extracts and synthetic aromatics. For those who prefer perfume-free products, we also have a wide range of products made from essential oils or without any fragrance at all. I don\u2019t understand the \u201clanguage\u201d used in the list of ingredients on your labels...<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
As a cosmetics manufacturer, Quai\u00a0des\u00a0Bulles must comply with Health Canada<\/strong>\u2019s labelling requirements. INCI<\/strong> refers to the International Nomenclature for Cosmetics Ingredients<\/em>. It is a system for naming ingredients used in cosmetics that is multilingual, multinational and based on Latin. The use of INCI names is mandatory in Canada. Even though our products are made from natural ingredients, we invite you to talk to a health care professional<\/strong> about any questions or concerns you may have regarding their use.<\/div><\/div>\n

Why do you use rice bran oil to manufacture your products?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
Rice bran oil nourishes<\/strong>, moisturizes<\/strong> and penetrates<\/strong> the skin well. It\u2019s a low-odour vegetable oil. As a result, it doesn\u2019t alter the delicate fragrances that we add to our products. Moreover, this oil \u201csaponifies<\/a>\u201d extremely well. The result? Does the batch number on my products correspond to the date of manufacture or expiry date?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
NO. For example: Batch 07-2007. In this example, 07 is the month of manufacture (July). 20 corresponds to the year of manufacture (2020). And the last two digits are an internal reference number. This batch number helps us trace the product (when necessary) and ensure inventory rotation.<\/div><\/div>\n

Where can I find your products?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
All our products are available at our four stores<\/strong><\/a>, which are located in Kamouraska, Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Baie-Saint-Paul and Carleton-sur-Mer. A selection of our products is also available at our many retailers\u2019 shops<\/a>. You can also come and meet us at our events<\/a>!<\/div><\/div>\n

How can I become a distributor?<\/h4><\/span><\/div>
